There are millions of people around the world, each one living different lives, with different histories. However, in the crowd, some connection happens in different ways, in a way that, even unknown persons become connected in different ways.
 
In this project, I choose one of my favorite books to work with.

The cover was created considering all the romance and the main characters of the narrative – Thomas, Theresa, Sabina and Franz – the black hats are the representation of them, who highlights in the crowd. Also, the hat is the only thing that connects all the characters, once that they all touch this object without know each other or how their lives are connected.

 

The opacque colors used aim to transmit the sobriety and the pale weight of the real life and the relations, which is crude and sometimes painfully, but, yet, sentimental. To represent the hat, I have used just an icon, as minimal as possible, once that this reinforce the sobriety of the story - they all are shadows, silhouettes in a imense world.
